The latest Xiaomi 17 series of smartphones has achieved an incredible sales milestone in just two days after its launch. In a short period of time, sales of the Xiaomi 17 series have surpassed the one million unit mark, with the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max accounting for more than half of the total, followed by the Pro version.

Previously, we shared that the Xiaomi 15 Series will be the first smartphone series to be powered by the next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Well, Xiaomi has finally revealed the launch date for the series, which is on 29 October at 7pm local time in China.

At the Snapdragon Summit event, Qualcomm introduced its latest processor chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It is said to be the most powerful and fastest mobile chip in the world, at least for now. That said, which phones will feature this SoC?

Xiaomi is expected to announce the flagship smartphones Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro in October this year. These two devices are expected to be the first phones in the world to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. A recent leak on Weibo via GizmoChina has revealed the detailed specifications of both models ahead of the official launch.
