Although the Xiaomi 17 series officially debuted in China on 25 September 2025, recent leaks now suggest the standard Xiaomi 17 might arrive in global markets, possibly as early as January 2026. A benchmarking entry on Geekbench (model number 25113PN0EG) appears to confirm a global-ready variant, adding weight to speculation of a worldwide debut soon.

It seems that Xiaomi is directly challenging Apple with its upcoming Xiaomi 17 Series. That's right, the company is skipping number 16 and going straight to 17, which will be launching later this month. Interestingly, the series is arriving a full month earlier than last year’s release, underscoring Xiaomi’s aggressive push in the flagship space.
