Pokemon Go could be accidentally banning Xiaomi users following recent update

Launched in 2016, Pokemon Go has captured the hearts of millions of players worldwide over the last three years thanks to its unique gameplay style and strong global Pokemon fanbase. Unfortunately for certain Xiaomi smartphone users, Niantic's brainchild seems to be banning users based on their choice of phone following their recent 10.3.2 update. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 in particular, seems to be most affected by the suspensions, and the culprit might be the update itself or their Game Booster feature.

Xiaomi Mi 9T Review - Lots to love at a low price point

I’ve been called a flagship snob quite a number of times due to me being quite judgy when it comes to budget and mid-range smartphones. Granted, I’ve been quite spoilt when it comes to smartphones and when you’ve tried the best of the best, it's hard to lower your expectations.
