Apparently there were a bunch of Audi R8 Sports cars were spotted at the Xiaomi Mi Store grand opening in D’Pulze Cyberjaya today 29 September 2018. The cars had the Xiaomi and Pocophone F1 which symbolizes the raw speed and capabilities of device which is equipped with top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.

Recently GizmoChina reported about renders and tech specs of the rumoured Xiaomi Mi Max 3, which could see a massive 6.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display in a compact metal body. Other features include a rumoured Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor, 4GB / 6GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB storage, rear fingerprint sensor, just a single 12MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 5500 mAh battery.

After giving a sneak peak yesterday, Mi Malaysia has confirmed that it will offer the Mi Max 2 and Mi 6 smartphones on preorder starting from 12PM, 31 July 2017 at the Mi Store on Lazada and their Mi Premium reseller at Queensbay Mall. No mention as to preorder price yet but it could well be RM1199 and RM1899 as previously leaked.

The Mi Store might have accidently posted a retail page on Lazada.com.my showing the pre-order prices for a black Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and a black Xiaomi Mi 6 briefly before being taken down hours later. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has been spotted to retail from RM1199 while the Mi 6 was spotted to retail from RM 1899.

The recently announced Xiaomi giant, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was recently made available in Malaysia’s own DirectD website for RM1499, but only for a couple of hours before the page was taken down.

Today, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was announced in China with two different variants based on its memory storage - 64GB and 128GB for 1699 Yuan and 1999 Yuan respectively, that’s around RM1056 and RM1243 in direct currency conversion. Anyway, here are the official tech-specs from the live stream we saw on YouTube.
