The Xiaomi Redmi 2 smartphone is coming soon to Malaysia with a release date of just tomorrow (17 March 2015) at 12 noon for RM449. The value smartphone features a 64-bit processor, dual SIM dual standby 4G LTE connectivity and other above average tech specs. Thanks to Xiaomi Malaysia we managed to get some hands-on time with the Malaysian version of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and have since updated our Xiaomi Redmi 2 review. While it hasn't been released officially here in Malaysia yet, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 is available for purchase from third-party sellers.
