Today, Malaysia’s government has confirmed that a one-off payment of RM100 will be disbursed to all eligible Malaysians aged 18 and above under the SARA For All programme. The aid will be credited directly into recipients’ MyKad starting Monday, 9 February 2026.

In a major infrastructure upgrade, MyKasih Foundation has increased its Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) terminal capacity by 60% to accommodate a surge in nationwide transactions. The move coincides with the rollout of the RM100 one-off SARA Appreciation Aid on Day 2, aimed at supporting eligible Malaysians through digital redemption.

As expected, scams about the RM100 aid by the Malaysian government have recently surfaced. The Communications Ministry has sent out a warning over a wave of fraudulent websites and social media posts impersonating government portals to exploit the public’s interest.

Last week, our Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, announced a RM100 aid for Malaysians over 18 years old through the MyKad from 31 August 2025. However, this method is not something familiar as cash aid was often distributed through eWallet platforms.
