That's right, you can now get a proper job as an e-hailing driver and surprisingly, AirAsia is the first company to implement that. It will take effect from 1 October 2022, whereby airasia ride drivers can apply for the Full-time Drivers program.

airasia ride, the e-hailing subsidiary of Capital A Bhd today said that it is aiming to get more drivers onboard so as to ensure that its fares remain fair for both passengers and drivers. According to its chief executive officer (CEO) Lim Chiew Shan, airasia rides is aiming to have 50,000 drivers by the end of 2022.

The airasia Super App commemorated a milestone yesterday as its e-hailing service, airasia ride hits one million completed rides within 8 months. Hence, it is celebrating by offering users free rides in specific time slots today (28 April 2022).
