While the Android marketshare continues to rise – Apple with their iOS ecosystem (iPhone and iPad) devices has been there all along as a great counterbalance to the market. They have just recently reached a milestone – they have sold over one billion iPhone devices as of today.

IFA 2016 Berlin is upon us, and we are expecting many manufacturers to announce new products during the week-long event. Traditionally manufacturers have their events before the IFA trade show itself, and Sony is following the trend as they are geared to announce new stuff on September 1st , just before IFA.

Previously we have covered about Superbook here when it was first mooted online. Now that it has started its kickstarter period, they have surpassed expectations – their current USD 944,000 (~RM 3.8 million as the time of this post) amount is about twenty times their initial request!

Softbank, one of the world’s largest telecommunication conglomerate, just announced that they will agree to invest in ARM for USD 32 billion (~RM 127 billion). Just as a recap, ARM is the company that creates the basic chip building blocks for just about every mobile chipmaker out there.

We have seen the Sony Xperia X line of models in Malaysia – the Sony Xperia X, Sony Xperia XA and the Sony Xperia XA Ultra. We even tested one of them, with a bit of a bitter aftertaste in our mouth. Now though a new sighting of a new Sony Xperia design phone is putting our hopes back up for the Japanese company.

More cameras these days are WiFi-enabled, allowing you to connect it to your tablet or smartphone to control it remotely from a distance. What about for cameras that has no WiFi built-in?
