    Amazon Web Services to invest RM25.5 billion and launch Infrastructure Region in Malaysia

    Amazon Web Services (AWS) yesterday announced that it is planning to launch an AWS Infrastructure Region in Malaysia. Furthermore, AWS, which is an Amazon.com Inc. company also announced that it will invest USD6 billion or approximately ~RM25.5 billion in Malaysia by 2037, the largest international technology investment to date in our country.

  • The Communications and Digital (KKD) Minister Fahmi Fadzil has announced that the Cabinet will be deciding on the direction of the 5G network implementation in Malaysia soon. He also revealed that this ministry had held a meeting with the Finance Ministry (MOF) on Monday (12 December 2022) to discuss the implementation of the 5G network project by Digital Nasional Bhd (DNB).

  • Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today announced that his administration will be reviewing the plan for state-owned Digital Nasional Bhd’s (DNB) 5G network rollout. This is because the plan, which was introduced by the previous administration was not formulated transparently.
