Apple has recently announced a new Augmented Reality API on iOS 16 that is powered by its ARKit which utilises the camera and LiDAR scanner on the iPhone and iPad. Called ‘RoomPlan’, the API can create a 3D floor plan of a room, including key characteristics such as dimensions and even the types of furniture.

Not long after the WWDC22, news about a 15-inch MacBook Air and 14-inch iPad popped out of nowhere. Since the rumoured iPad has such a large display, we all assume it would fall under the Pro category. However, it seems like we are wrong according to this new information.

iOS 16 has a ton of new features and it may be the biggest software update coming soon. Among all the features, one thing that Apple didn't highlight was iOS 16 can now support the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons and Pro Controller which is quite a surprise.

At the annual WWDC 2022, Apple revealed versions for many of the operating systems it has. This includes macOS Ventura, iPadOS 16, and iOS 16. Of course, those aren't the only ones that were updated. The company also announced a new version of watchOS - watchOS 9.
