If you're experiencing an unstable mobile connection in Pahang and Terengganu with your Celcom line, you're not alone. CelcomDigi just confirmed that there was a minor fire incident earlier this morning that affected the connectivity.

It's been more than a month since Celcom and Digi offered free 5G services to more Postpaid and Prepaid plans. If you thought you can't test it further, well, CelcomDigi has announced that the free 5G access for Postpaid and Prepaid customers will be extended until 31 May 2023.

Like the rest of the telcos, Celcom also announced that it has subscribed to Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB)'s 5G single wholesale network. Starting from 1 November 2022, Celcom customers, including Celcom Business customers, who have 5G-enabled devices and are subscribed to selected Celcom postpaid and prepaid plans, will automatically be able to access 5G network services within 5G coverage areas. 

We are almost at the end of the third quarter of the year and there's still barely any 5G connectivity in Malaysia. However, it looks like Celcom is preparing well for the next phase. Recently, the company just released its 1H2022 performance and here's what it says about 5G preparation.

Today, Celcom just announced that it has launched its first-ever cloud gaming service. Also a first in Malaysia, this initiative by Celcom is a partnership with Radian Arc and Blacknut allowing Celcom customers to enjoy more than 400 premium cloud game titles at only RM40 per month.
