The collaboration between CelcomDigi, U Mobile and ZTE Corporation has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records for achieving the fastest mobile speed of 30.8 Gbps with 5G-Advanced (5G-A) during a live trial conducted in Kuching, Sarawak. This feat is the fastest-recorded speed in the world, while the individual user speed also recorded a new benchmark, which is speeds of up to 8.5Gbps.

CelcomDigi today announced that it has reached a new milestone in its post-merger network integration and modernisation exercise after completing upgrades in Penang and surpassing the halfway point nationwide.
