When it comes to eSports, Malaysian gamers are quite passionate but never really took off the charts in international tournaments. However, that has changed recently, the Selangor Red Giants has just won the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Mid Season Cup 2024 tournament. This is the first-ever international trophy for the Malaysian eSports scene.

Lenovo has recently announced the Legion of Champions esports tournament happening from 5 November 2019 until 27 January 2020, and it will have a combined prize pool of up to USD89100(~RM372687). For this year, Legion of Champions will include esports titles such as PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUND as well as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
