Apple recently unveiled two new 35W Dual USB-C Power Adapters during WWDC 2022, the company’s first charger with dual output. Now that orders of devices launched during the event are beginning to be delivered, Apple has posted new support documents for each device, including the aforementioned 35W Dual USB-C Adapters.

Although the Xiaomi 12 series got fully revealed not long ago, there might still be something you didn't know. This time, the Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with the third self-developed chip, Surge P1, which is specially made for fast charging. According to this new report, the chip actually allows a 4,000mAh battery to get fully charged in just 8 minutes.

The European Commission has been requesting Apple to use the USB-C port for a while now, but the tech giant seems to prefer its Lightning port over other options. Until now, an engineering student has somehow made it happen before Apple by modifying an iPhone X to fit a USB-C port, giving the European Commission a peek at what they want.

Earlier, it was reported that Xiaomi is working on 200W fast charge technology and could bring it to the market this year. However, the latest information has arrived saying that the technology would only be available in June next year. Therefore, we might have to wait for a little longer to witness the next generation fast charge technology.

Wireless charging is getting more relevant nowadays. It is said as some of them actually feature impressive fast-charge technologies now and making them so much better compared to what we had to deal with in the past. However, wireless charging can't stop evolving as they need to cater to the recent folding devices. Seeing the opportunity, Xiaomi has been spotted with a patent for a new fast wireless charging tech that is tailored for foldable smartphones.

Xiaomi is indeed on a roll here. First, they unveiled a new Mi Air Charge and then a new 200W HyperCharge technology this year, now they have just applied for a new patent about a new sound charging technology at the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).

Looks like a new kind of battery is currently being developed by a bunch of researchers in Russia, claiming that it can be charged up to 10 times faster than conventional Lithium-Ion batteries. Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that devices will come equipped with this battery this year, as it is still in the development phase and it is still unable to match the capacity of a Lithium-Ion battery.

It seems that a patent posted on patentlyapple.com seems to hint that Apple’s upcoming iPhone could come equipped with the MagSafe Charging port, which could replace Lightning Ports located at the bottom of most current generation iPhones. While not much is known in regards to which smartphones will come equipped with the MagSafe Charging port, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is officially launched in the near future.

It seems that OPPO has recently released a 30-second clip that showcases the new contactless charging technology and how it functions. Unfortunately, while there’s no news on when this will be available in the global market, we have good reason to believe it will most likely be supported by upcoming OPPO flagship smartphones.

It seems that Twitter user Mukul Sharma has recently posted a tweet, showing an OPPO smartphone with the model number CPH2219 which comes equipped with up to 33W fast charging. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is officially available in the local market.
