When Apple became the first phone company to ditch the charging brick, it didn't take long for many tech enthusiasts and other brands to mock its decision. However, other brands also started imitating Apple's method and that includes Samsung.

After the announcement of the latest Samsung Galaxy S21 series, Samsung held a QnA session with some of the media online. On the topic of being sustainable by removing charging bricks, Samsung also unveiled that all of its Galaxy phone lineups will eventually remove them.

Generally, Apple doesn't disclose the amount of energy in the iPhone batteries upon and we don't think we will be seeing the company changing that habit anytime soon. But we got some news that the group just placed their orders on GaN charger technology which could change the game.
