Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob yesterday launched MyGovCloud, a cloud computing service which serves as an upgrade to the Public Sector Data Centre (PDSA). Moving forward, the new service will be used by all government agencies.

Today, Microsoft has announced that it will establish its first datacenter region in Malaysia to deliver trusted cloud services locally. It is aligned with the Bersama Malaysia initiative that is committed to empowering Malaysia’s inclusive digital economy and advancing the nation’s digital transformation across the private and public sectors.

Previously, there was a third-party app that allows iPhone and iPad users to get access to Google Stadia. Apple soon removed the app from its App Store, but the app is now back up for those of you who are hoping to game on the platform with your Apple devices.

Photographs are akin to memories, as they are often taken at places we visit or of people we know. These photos are usually stored online these days so that we can have it all in one place and reminisce from time to time. So, Google decided that redesign its Google Photos app, giving it a focus on helping users relive their memories.

Interested in Google Stadia but don't have a Pixel smartphone? That's no longer an issue as Google has begun to roll out the service to other third-party Android devices. Starting 20 February 2020, Stadia will work on selected Samsung, ASUS, and Razer smartphones.

We know that there are some of you out there who will never upload your personal files onto the cloud services like Google Photos and iCloud for privacy concern. Not to say there are many news regarding celebrities’ photos being leaked from the services as well. Not long ago, Google accidentally sent some of the users’ private videos from Google Photos to the other users, and they have apologized to those who were affected by the issue.

Today is a big day for the gaming world as it is the launch day of Google Stadia. The so-called Netflix of gaming offers players to enjoy gaming experience without any console. The games will run through cloud service and you can just play the games using Google Chrome browser on any device.
