It looks like Instagram has given up on its attempt to capture the long-form video market following the company’s move to kill off the IGTV standalone app. In an official blog post on Monday (28 February 2022), Instagram confirmed that it is discontinuing support for the IGTV app thus ending the service as a whole. Everyone needs a break and it seems that one of YouTube's biggest stars is ready for a rest after years of making YouTube videos. Felix Kjellberg, aka PewDiePie, announced that he would be taking a break from YouTube in early 2020. According to Engadget, PewDiePie first hinted that he wanted to take a break in August this year and said that he'd like to do something else other than YouTube.
