Starting from today onwards, it will be possible to help your parents and children above the age of 18 register for the COVID-19 on the MySejahtera app starting from 19 March 2021. Based on a statement by Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar, it seems that roughly 1.4 million Malaysians who registered for the COVID-19 vaccine did not provide additional information about themselves other than confirming their identity via NRIC. Citizens who did not provide the app with the necessary information might end up needing to get the vaccine at a later date, as some of the information might be required in order to set up an appointment.

Today, the Malaysia Government is imposing a new rule to tackle fake news. Starting today onwards under the Emergency Ordinance (No. 2) 2021, any individual or party who publish or broadcast fake news about any related COVID-19 and State of Emergency matters will be fined up to RM100,000.
