After Apple launched the Apple Card as a virtual payment card that is linked to Apple Pay, several other Android brands also jumped on the bandwagon by announcing or launching their own. Now, it looks like vivo will also join the forces after Chinese trademark filings for "VivoCard" being spotted.

It's clear these days that traditional banks see the importance of integrating with e-commerce platforms. Maybank, VISA Malaysia, and Shopee have partnered up to launch a new VISA credit card. As you can imagine, this is a new credit card that provides its users with benefits and rewards when shopping on Shopee.

Boost is a free-to-use e-wallet which allows the user to make payments through the app to all participating merchants on its platform, such as 99 Speedmart, Steam, Shopee and more. In order to do so, users are required to top-up the e-wallet using either a credit or debit card. That being said, there was an unfortunate case where a user from  Kluang, Johor had up to RM2000 stolen from her through the Boost app.
