In yet another unfortunate piece of news, Intel has confirmed plans to reduce its core workforce from around 99500 to approximately 75000 employees by the end of 2025. That's roughly a 15?% cut under a sweeping restructuring spearheaded by CEO Lip?Bu Tan.

As reported before, Microsoft did indeed announce a major layoff this July. In another significant round of restructuring, the company plans to lay off up to 9000 employees, marking its fourth wave of job cuts this year.

Meta is about to follow Twitter's footsteps to have a big-scale employee layoff. Recently, CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared that the company would cut off about 13% of employees, around 11,000 jobs, through a blog post.

It seems that Telekom Malaysia has recently sent out an update on their Facebook page, stating that some users might experience unstable or even loss of connection due to the breakage of the main cable. In terms of the location of the outage, it includes places such as Pantai Remis, Sitiawan, Tanjung Malim, as well as Tapah at the time of this writing.

TMnet has released a statement on their Twitter account stating that there will be a slight service disruption due to a cable cut which was caused by a TNB construction at Alor Akar. Based on the statement, Alor Akar is a key landing site for internet traffic coming from Sabah and Sarawak.
