A local company in Malaysia by the name of Average Drone aims to revolutionize the delivery process, by utilizing drones to deliver food across Cyberjaya from the end of June 2019 onwards. As it is still just a trial, the results of this test run will further dictate whether this system will be deployed in other regions of Malaysia.

VADS Lyfe and Cyberview Sdn Bhd recently launched the pilot of the Smart Traffic Analytics and Recognition System as part of Malaysia's Internet of Things initiative, particularly involving traffic. Imagine traffic lights that let the system know when they are broken and adaptive and intelligent traffic lights that change the sequence of traffic as or when traffic happens in real time. The system utilizes existing video camera systems with a few more additional cameras to make these decisions intelligently.
