As reported before, Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC26) will take place from 8 to 12 June 2026. The event will once again be held primarily online, while also featuring a special in-person experience at Apple Park for selected developers and students on opening day.

Many of you may not remember it, but Meta announced a "metaverse" game back in 2023 called Horizon Worlds. The game is only playable with Meta's VR (virtual reality) headsets, like the Meta Quest 3. Anyway, the company's next update could include AI-powered NPCs.

Google is adding a new layer of protection to Android with the rollout of developer verification for all apps installed on certified Android devices. Announced by Suzanne Frey, VP of Product, Trust & Growth for Android, this initiative aims to curb the rise of malware and scams from sideloaded apps by ensuring every developer is verified before their app reaches users.

However, there are also some apps that would steal your private information and use it for who knows what. Therefore, we still need to be cautious when come across certain suspicious apps. Recently, an app called Remove China Apps has suddenly made it to the top of India's Google Play Store, claiming that it helps users to remove apps made by China.

Based on a statement by Apple Developer Forrest Heller, USB chargers these days carry more processing power as compared to the guidance computer found on the Apollo 11 spacecraft. The way the aforementioned developer proved his statement is by analyzing the hardware found in the USB chargers and compared them to Apollo 11’s computers.

The fifth instalment of LEVEL UP KL is happening from 2 November until 10 November 2019, and it will feature both LEVEL UP KL BIZ and LEVEL UP KL PLAY which is focused on game developers and the general audience respectively that will be taking place around the Kuala Lumpur area.

As the trade war goes on, Google services will soon be put on halt on 19 August 2019 officially but today, Huawei has made an interesting move. According to XDA Developers, the company has sent out invitations to developers to publish their apps on the Huawei AppGallery app store.
