As electric vehicles (EVs) continue to rise, there are still some sceptics about the EV batteries being environmentally friendly. Well, Geotab has released updated findings from its latest EV battery health study, revealing that modern EV batteries continue to perform strongly despite increasing use of high-power fast charging.

In a milestone move for PRO-NET, the official distributor of Proton e.MAS and smart Malaysia vehicles, the company has officially handed over a fleet of electric vehicles (EVs) to the Ministry of Transport (MOT). The handover, which took place on 26 August, aligns with the national Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint (LCMB) 2021–2030 and reinforces PRO-NET’s role in driving the country’s transition to sustainable transportation.

The Johor State Government is targeting 15,840 electric vehicle (EV) registrations by 2030, compared to the 977 units that are currently registered in the state.
