Facebook has made a few questionable decisions over the years, both internally in terms of management as well as relating to the platform’s algorithm and features. Well, it seems that Meta’s popular social media platform is at it again, this time by reportedly locking out users who doesn’t activate Facebook Protect out of their Facebook accounts.
Worse, some users are even saying that they weren’t made aware of the necessity of turning on Facebook Protect. In fact, the only notice they got was from a spam-like email from Facebook titled “Your account requires advanced security from Facebook Protect”.

The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) has today warned Malaysians that it has never appointed any third parties to assist in the recently announced 2022 Special Withdrawal. Taking to its official Facebook account, EPF reminded Malaysians to be careful with fraudulent ads by scammers that are currently widespread on social media.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that the government has agreed to allow for another EPF withdrawal of up to RM10000 for Malaysians under 55 years old. This would be the fourth EPF withdrawal scheme since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic after i-Lestari, i-Sinar and i-Citra.

The vanish mode is a chatroom that you don't need to delete the messages and it will automatically disappear in a short time by itself. Designed with Safety, Voice and Equity in mind, these Community Standards were published in a more detailed version to avoid harmful content such as hate speech, bullying and extremist content from being published on Facebook in all of the local languages including Bahasa Melayu.

This isn’t really shocking, really. According to a recent study, Google and Facebook could potentially be tracking your visits to porn sites even when you’re on incognito mode. Google has trackers on 74% of the porn sites, Facebook on 10% and Oracle on 24%. Yikes.
