When you browse through social media, you'll often come across content that are just no good. This includes cyberbullying, discrimination, insults, and scams. Case in point, this tasteless joke about the missing MH370 flight by stand-up comedian Jocelyn Chia that went viral earlier today. She has since deactivated some of her social media accounts, but the backlash was bad.

WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature for group chats that would allow users to set an expiration date for the group. Aptly named ‘Expiring Groups’, the feature was introduced on the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.5.0.70 update, meaning that it may end up in the full version of the app soon.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has revealed that the company is in the midst of testing AI-powered tools for its products. These would include AI-powered chats on its messaging platforms, WhatsApp and Messenger.
