In case you missed it, Maxis has announced its new Maxis Family Plans, positioning the offering as an all-in-one connectivity solution designed to simplify how households manage home internet and mobile lines. Marketed around the idea of “More Connections, Less Complications,” the plans combine high-speed fibre broadband, unlimited mobile data, and bundled entertainment into a single package.

Today, Maxis announced a major expansion of its fibre network infrastructure through deployment in Penang. The company's new target goal is to connect more than 100,00 homes in the state by 2027, rolling out across all districts such as Jelutong, Georgetown, Batu Maung, Bayan Lepas, and Bayan Baru, alongside key locations in Mainland Penang.

Today, Celcom just announced an all-new convergence plan called Celcom MAX. It's a new hybrid data plan which combines both home and mobile Internet services, allowing customers to utilize the current digital lifestyle during the pandemic in terms of learning, working and playing from home. 

Celcom, Digi, and Maxis signed a Definitive Agreement to work together to expedite the development of fibre backhaul to base stations which will then be shared by all the service providers. With that in mind, this ensures that there is no duplicated fibre infrastructure, driving down the cost of development which benefits both customers and providers.

Now it's possible for you to get up to a 65-inch Samsung 4K TV at the price of RM1 a month when you sign up for a Maxis Fibre and Postpaid plan, starting from today onwards. Do note that if you’re interested in getting the 65-inch Samsung 4K TV, you’re required to sign up for a Maxis Fibre plan that’s priced at RM219 and above, while signing up for a plan cheaper than the price mentioned will get you a 50-inch Samsung 4K TV instead.

Digi has officially announced the Digi Internet Freedom which bundles both Digi Postpaid Plan, as well as Home Fibre for a lower price start from as RM130 a month, not including the postpaid plan. In addition to that, depending on which Internet Freedom package you pick, you could get discounts on your postpaid plan by up to 20%.

After years of saving, I finally have enough to move out of my parents' house and into a studio apartment I just bought. Not only will I be the man of the house, but I could go out or invite friends over without anyone nagging me.

That might sound nice and all, but it still doesn't change the fact that I'm responsible for paying my own utility bills such as water and electricity. Plans are priced as low as RM90 a month for Home Fibre and RM38 for the postpaid plan. But let's have a closer look at the Digi Fibre Broadband, shall we?

Starting from today onwards, Digi has announced that they will be offering fibre broadband in the selected areas starting from as low as RM99 for 50Mbps and RM129 for 100Mbps as well as unlimited internet data quota.

Remember when we wrote about a leaked image which stats that Maxis will be offering faster internet speeds? Well, apparently it is true as Maxis has recently announced that they will officially be offering new Maxis Fibre Subscription plans for Home and Business customers, with speeds of up to 800Mbps with prices starting from as low as RM129 a month.
