This rumour can be taken with a grain but a post online has stated that Nokia is creating what is amounting to a large tablet. The 18.4-inch tablet is said to be branded with the Nokia brand, and it may be appearing sometime during MWC.

It seems that the trend to follow this year is patents on folding smartphones. Take LG for example. They have just filed a patent where they are positing the idea of a foldable smartphone that can change from a smartphone to a tablet form in a flip.

It seems the rising trend for 2017 will be foldable phones. Samsung is said to have one phone coming soon this year, and apparently Nokia is working on something as well, if this patent recently unearthed is any indication.

Not only we have seen Nokia coming out with their new smartphones (the Nokia 6 and the upcoming Nokia E1), a new report says that the company may be dabbling into the world of AI assistants. A new applied  trademark by the company may shed some clues on the company’s future plans in the mobile space.

Razer is known for coming out with weird and exciting products to entice users – be it ready for mass-market or something a bit more conceptual. This is one of the latter. Project Valerie is a proof-of-concept by the company to show that it is possible to create a triple-display gaming laptop that can be both compact(ish) and portable(ish).

We have talked about the various patents that Samsung has garnered over the past year or so for flexible displays for their future smartphones. Now a new patent has been granted to Samsung that seems to incorporate their previous patents into a single design.

The recently launched Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus comes with Apple’s new Fusion A10 processor – with its two high-powered and two –low-powered cores running to keep the phone in optimum condition. However a new report has just been shared online that a new processor is on its way from Apple, and it is expected to be used in their Apple iPad Pro products.

We are expected to see something special this coming 4th October, as Google readies to launch several new items. One of them is apparently a new software initiative, which Google is calling “Andromeda”, an Android/Chrome hybrid OS.

When was the last time you complained that your SD card is full? Well you may never need to complain anymore soon as Western Digital’s Sandisk just shared a prototype unit of their largest SD card to date – a SDXC 1TB (Terabyte).

Google’s parent company Alphabet has suspended Project Ara, the ambitious project to build a modular smartphone for the masses. Instead, they will look for manufacturing partners who can licence the product instead.
