Back when Nintendo denied the possibility of a new Switch console in 2020, many fans were left disappointed. Now, a new rumour suggests that Nintendo is in fact in the early stages of development for what could be a Switch Pro.

This rumoured Pro variant of the console was supposed to support 4K resolution, but Nintendo was quick to deny this a few days later. However, there's a new rumour that suggests a new Switch is still possible, just not the 4K Pro model from the previous rumour.

Unlike its counterpart at Microsoft, Sony has been tight-lipped about the details for its next-gen PlayStation 5 console. To date, the public is yet to know what the retail unit would look like.
