AI or Artificial Intelligence continues to be the buzzword in tech and this is no exception for Samsung Galaxy AI, which is rumored to be coming soon (probably 2024). We recently managed to sit down with Steve Chan, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Samsung Electronics Malaysia about what we might expect from Samsung Galaxy AI. Since ChatGPT first rose to prominence at the end of last year, every other company has been looking to make its own AI chatbot. Even e-commerce platforms like Lazada are getting in on the game with its LazzieChat. Now, sources say Samsung is ready to join the bandwagon soon.

Tech giant Alibaba has announced that it will roll out its own artificial intelligence (AI) product to rival ChatGPT. Called Tongyi Qianwen, the chatbot will be integrated across the company’s businesses.

If you’ve been playing around with Microsoft’s AI powered Bing search engine, it looks like you can now generate AI art too with their Bing Image Creator. Utilizing a version of DALL-E, you can type in what you want and see if it will make anything coherent. Previously when we tried to do so, all we got was alphanumeric text images but this new version is rather promising.

After all the previous Adobe AI projects like Adobe Sensei and so forth, it seemed like just a matter of time before the company took a stab at generative AI art too. Adobe Firefly is their answer to this and while it is still only in beta, Adobe plans for Firefly to be utilized for commercial use. Hot on the heels of Google’s generative AI for Workspaces, is Microsoft’s take on it, which they have called Microsoft 365 Copilot. Designed to parse through your OneDrive (where Microsoft expects you to put all your personal images and details too) Copilot can automatically create and summarize emails, presentations, spreadsheets and documents throughout Microsoft’s Office 365 suite, Outlook and more.

Google recently announced how exactly they’re going to integrate their Generative AI into some of their products. This includes the ability where you can ask GMail to write your emails and cover letters, auto-generate summaries in Google Docs, automatically make presentations and so forth.  

Microsoft recently announced that their new AI-powered Bing search engine and Edge browser are now available… but if you were hoping to ask Bing to write your homework tonight, all you can do for now is register on the waitlist as it is only available to a select few.
