It has been two weeks since President Biden started working in the office, but there's no word if he would lift the ban on Huawei that was done by the Trump Administration. This also includes the shipments between Huawei and their partners but what does this mean for HONOR?

After Huawei sold off HONOR, the public has started to question whether HONOR will regain access to Google Mobile Services (GMS). Now, it looks like that the answer has been revealed with a reputable Russian newspaper reported that the smartphone company is working on a new line that runs the GMS.

Now that the Honor has been sold to another new company, the brand will most likely start going through some changes to its operations. More importantly, we can expect its products to undergo some key changes as well. Here are a few points that are being speculated at the moment.

Prior to the Huawei Mate 30 series release last year, it was most unfortunate that Huawei got caught in the trade war. The company is still not clear out of being able to use Google Mobile Services (GMS) yet, so they have been trying different ways to survive without it with their own Huawei Mobile Service. Despite this, international countries out of China still relies on GMS a lot, so what is Plan B?

Without Google Mobile Services (GMS), it’s harder for Huawei to keep up with other devices from another brands with the services. Although the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is trying to make the most out of its Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), it may still take some time for the services to be mature. Recently, we have found out Huawei is sourcing from India to develop alternative Google apps and services, and promised they will be ready by the end of this year.
