The Walt Disney Company has announced a major change to its streaming strategy. Beginning 8 October 2025, Hulu will officially serve as the global general entertainment brand within Disney+, taking over from Star in international markets.

After a long wait, it seems that Disney is finally making a move into the Malaysian market with Disney. It appears that several hours ago, the company set up a Facebook and Instagram page named Disneyplushotstarmy. For some reason, the Facebook page has been taken down except for the latter.
