    Just in case you missed it, Huawei Malaysia has just recently started their Service Annual Giving Season over the weekend and it will end on 1 January 2020. From their Facebook page, the company will be giving out a complimentary screen protector and application, along with a gift after a completed repair. On the repair, there is also a 20% discount on spare parts.

    Huawei and Maxis signed an agreement today on the provisioning of 5G Networks in Malaysia. It was witnessed by Yang Amat Berhormat Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia and was signed by Michael Yuan, Huawei Chief Executive Officer and Gokhan Ogut, Maxis Chief Executive Officer. Through the agreement Maxis hopes to achieve a robust 5G network with potential speeds reaching 10Gbps.

    Huawei Mobile Services or HMS, home of Huawei’s AppGallery, will be participating at the Tokyo Game Show 2019 (TGS 2019) from 12 September 2019 to 15 September 2019 at booth 7-C03, Hall 7. As such, they are offering 300 free passes for mobile game developers to better collaborate and optimise their games for Huawei Mobile devices which can be redeemed here (be warned, it’s in Japanese).

    Opensignal recently revealed another report about the global smartphone mobile network experience and it revealed that for Malaysia, Samsung and Huawei smartphone users tend to get higher download speeds than Apple smartphone users. While Samsung smartphone users got the top spot of an average 16Mbps, Huawei smartphone users were just almost there at 15Mbps. Apple smartphone users were quite close still at 13Mbps.
