Apple has recently announced a new Augmented Reality API on iOS 16 that is powered by its ARKit which utilises the camera and LiDAR scanner on the iPhone and iPad. Called ‘RoomPlan’, the API can create a 3D floor plan of a room, including key characteristics such as dimensions and even the types of furniture.

When it comes to mobile apps and web browsers these days, the biggest concern would have to be data privacy. In an effort to improve privacy for its platform, Apple will be implementing a new policy for its App Store. Allegedly, apps that don't follow this new policy could be removed from the platform.

Technology can't always be working perfectly. Sometimes, there will be some technical issues creeping in to "spice up your life". Currently, several famous iOS apps are crashing down and the source of the problem hasn't been located yet. However, the public is suggesting that Facebook is the one to blame for this issue.
