Ever since U Mobile was nominated as the second 5G network provider in Malaysia, the news caught many Malaysians by surprise, particularly other well-known local telcos. But in order to proceed, the orange telco's foreign shareholders must reduce its ownership.

According to BERNAMA, MITI is now sharing that it has established cooperation with the state governments of Selangor and Johor. This is done to ensure that each district has facilities for DC charging for electric vehicles. This move is also expected to be in line with the government's target to reach 10000 EV charging stations by 2025.

The Johor state government has now announced that it will start offering “WiFi Premium Maju Johor” (Johor Advanced Premium WiFi) from July 2024. This will be in effect in around 23 locations in the state. That includes 63 hotspots. That said, what should you know about it?
