Update: As of 7PM, Maybank has updated that all of the services are back to normal

Applying for a new property can be a real hassle but Maybank is looking to change that. For the first time ever, Maybank is making homeownership simpler with Maybank Home2u on its MAE app. This marks Malaysia’s first-ever digital home financing solution within an integrated banking app, which is capable of providing approval 10 seconds within an application completion. 

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and Maybank is expecting an increased usage in e-Angpao. As most Malaysians aren't able to return home for the festive season, the company is predicting close to 1.7 million e-Angpao transactions amounting to over RM60 million. 

Please take note that starting from 11:30 pm until 11:59 pm on 11 December 2020 (Friday), there will be some services from Maybank that are will not be available during this period. To minimize any inconvenience, please perform your transactions in advance.

Starting from 3 December 2020, Maybank Malaysia will no longer send any SMS notifications to your smartphone. So whenever you make a Debit Card transaction, the notification will be sent to your Maybank2u (or M2U MY) app instead.
