    As of 16 March 2022, the Malaysian government announced that Digital Nasional Berhad's (DNB) Single Wholesale Network (SWN) will remain as planned. However, the government also only retain a 30% equity stake in DNB and offered the rest of the 70% to CelcomDigiMaxis and U Mobile.

    Following the announcement of the Malaysian government's decision to main the Single Wholesale Network (SWN) for Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB), DNB released a statement not too long after. Basically, the announcement was about DNB welcoming the decision and also encouraging telecommunications companies to subscribe for the equity stakes.

    After waiting for more than two weeks, the Malaysian government has finally settled on what they were going to do with the Single Wholesale Network (SWN). From today's tweet as well as the press conference, the government has decided to maintain the implementation of the 5G network as an SWN.

    Now, a new leak regarding the chip points to it being more powerful than first suspected. This is after the Galaxy A53 5G was spotted in a Google Play listing that shows the device sporting an Exynos 1280 chip with the codename ‘S5E8825’ accompanied with 6GB of RAM.
