Not long ago, a good initiative called "Bendera Putih" was started by the people to help those who are struggling during the pandemic. All they need to do is to hang a white flag in front of their houses to call out for aid. Now, a group of students have joined forces in developing an app that lets users track the locations of homes with a white flag, plus the food banks.

As the COVID-19 cases continue to hike, our government has announced the latest MCO 3.0 (Movement Control Order) for six districts in Selangor including Hulu Langat, Petaling, Gombak, Klang, Kuala Langat, and Sepang. Starting from 6 May to 17 May 2021, the people from these districts are not allowed to travel interstate and inter-district. However, for those who are to attend vaccine appointments, exceptions will be made.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has officially announced the PERMAI initiative which comes with various assistance ranging from tax relief, free internet data, and more. To go into more detail, the government will waive tax of up to RM2500 for any electronics bought until 31 December 2021 to encourage the acquisition of smartphones, laptops, and tablets.
