Based on a statement by @dantley on Twitter, it seems that Twitter will soon show a more accurate preview of pictures uploaded on Twitter in the near future. While not much is known in regards to when it will be fully rolled out to the public, it does give us a better idea of what to expect from the social media platform in the near future.

It seems that a Twitter user @wongmjane recently posted a tweet, stating that Twitter could be introducing a feature that could allow users to undo their sent tweet in future. Our source also mentioned that the aforementioned feature might be available for those who subscribed to “Twitter Premium” which was briefly mentioned in a survey conducted last year.

Based on a statement by techradar.com, it seems that Twitter has recently introduced a feature called Spaces, which comes with features similar to that of Clubhouse. Unfortunately, the feature is currently available only to selected users in India and there’s no news on when it will be coming to Malaysia.

It seems that Saifuddin Abdullah, Minister of Communications and Media has recently stated that only 4% of Malaysia, which includes some parts of Sabah, Sarawak, as well as West Malaysia, are experiencing poor network connection. With that in mind, the government will do their best to improve network coverage to the regions mentioned via the JENDALA initiative.

In an effort to reduce the spread of misinformation, Twitter has officially implemented a feature where it will prompt users if they were to press "Like" a disputed tweet. Prior to this, Twitter implemented a similar prompt to the “Quote Tweets” functionality which has decreased the spread of misinformation by up to 29%.

While there is no official information in regards to when the feature will be officially available, there’s also no info on which smartphone will support it as well.

While there’s no news on when the feature will be officially rolled out to the public, we do know that it is currently in testing, which means that it could be available within a month or two.

Based on a statement by wabetainfo.com, it seems that WhatsApp could soon have a feature called “Expiring media” sometime in the near future which could allow users to send pictures and video that expire after a certain duration. While not much is known in regards to when this feature will be rolled out to the masses, our source also mentioned that it might also notify the sender if the recipient were to screenshot the sent media.

With that said, Facebook themselves mentioned that it is currently a test, and will not be available to the majority of the user base.

It seems that Facebook has recently unveiled a new feature called Messenger Rooms, which allows up to 50 participants to video call at the same time. But that’s not all, Facebook has also highlighted that participants who are keen on joining the Messenger Room do not necessarily need a Facebook account in order to join.
