If you're a gamer, you've likely seen news of Nintendo copyright claiming YouTube videos featuring content from their games and shutting down emulators. The company would rather sell you their retro games for a price than allow piracy or emulation. And it's going one step further with the latest update to its User Agreement.

During the Nintendo Direct livestream last night, Nintendo announced a new app called 'Nintendo Today!'. It is a news content app that is related to all Nintendo games and characters, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Nintendo just announced the Switch 2, and while no official games have been announced for the platform yet, the Xbox team is reportedly gearing up to launch some big titles like Diablo 4, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator to Nintendo. The music streaming app - Nintendo Music has launched today for Android and iOS devices. It will only stream songs and soundtracks released over the past few decades from Nintendo video games. Among the content offered are the soundtracks of Super Mario Brothers games, Metroid, Legend of Zelda, and Pokemon.

Yesterday, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company filed a lawsuit against, Pocketpair, the makers of Palworld. The lawsuit letter was published on Nintendo's website, claiming Pocketpair of "patent infringement" (from Pokemon, obviously) on its Palworld game.

Earlier this year, Palworld was one of the hottest games to play on Steam. Although overall gameplay mechanics are a bit different, the creatures look very similar to several popular Pokemon from Nintendo. Well, it was only a matter of time before Nintendo and The Pokemon Company filed a lawsuit against Pocketpair Inc., the makers of Palworld.

While Apple removed the Game Boy emulator iGBA from the App Store a month ago, you can still get other emulators on the platform for your entertainment. We talked about Gamma before but here are other retro game emulators that you can download.
