Pos Malaysia is embarking on a pilot project to integrate autonomous vehicles into its operations, with the goal of boosting productivity and operational efficiency in handling postal items, particularly within internal facility operations. The initiative marks one of the first uses of autonomous driving technology in Malaysia’s postal sector and signals a step toward modernising the service in line with current technological advancements.

The Penang State Government has annuonced that government services in the state will go 100 per cent cashless by the year 2030 in an effort to realise its digital transformation agenda. Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow elaborated that the State Government would intensify efforts to introduce cashless initiative soon, especially in major tourist hotspots.
