    Could the Sony PlayStation 5 be priced from ~RM1924 onwards?

    It seems that a listing of the Sony PlayStation 5 has been spotted on Amazon, and it seems that the console will start from the price of 399 Euros (~RM1924) for the Digital Edition which doesn’t have an optical drive. The base variant of the PS5 that comes with the optical drive, on the other hand, is priced at 499 Euros (~RM2406) which is slightly more expensive but it lets you play physical copies of the game.

    Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida stated that the upcoming PlayStation 5 performs up to 100 times faster than previous-generation consoles, which is largely thanks to the high-performance SSDs it comes with.     Based on a statement by former senior director Albert Penello, it seems that the upcoming Sony Playstation 5 is expected to be priced at around USD399(~RM1770) at launch. The aforementioned console is much cheaper compared to the upcoming Microsoft Xbox console, which will most likely be priced at RM499.
