Sony Malaysia has announced that the third batch of pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 is officially available via Lazada on 19 February 2021 from 12AM onwards. But that's not all, it's also possible to pre-order the console from Shopee at 12AM and 12PM on the same day as well! To refresh your memory on the pricing, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is priced at RM1869 while the regular console with the Blu-ray disc drive is priced at RM2299.

Last night, Samsung introduced the latest Samsung Galaxy S21 series. Since it was a global launch, it wasn't long before Samsung Malaysia announced the official local prices and pre-order freebies. For those who are not familiar with the pricing, the Digital Edition is priced at RM1869 while the console with the Blu-ray disc drive, on the other hand, is priced at RM2299.

OSIM recently revealed on their official website that they will be having pre-orders for the Predator x OSIM Gaming Chair at the price of RM2399, which is more than 50% off the original price. Customers who pre-ordered the product can expect to receive it around the end of October 2020.

It seems that Xiaomi recently unveiled the Mi Power Bank 3 which comes with up to 18W fast charging, and it will be priced at RMB169 (~RM101). While there is no official information on when it will be coming to Malaysia, we do know that it is currently listed on JD.com for pre-order.

Based on a statement by mydrivers.com, it seems that the upcoming Sony PS5 Pro could be priced from 499USD(~RM2097) while the non-Pro variant could start from 399USD(~RM1677). While not much is fully confirmed in regards to the aforementioned console, it seems that the Pro variant could support resolutions up to 8K while the regular PS5 does not.

I’m pretty sure by now that everyone knows that a brand new 5G network is currently being tested in Malaysia and it is capable of offering up to or even more than 6Gbps download speeds. However, there are still some users out there who are sceptical towards the new network, probably due to the fact that even the current 4G network coverage in Malaysia is nowhere near perfect just yet.
However, recently MCMC Minister YB Gobind Singh announced that states such as Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Selangor as well as Terengganu will be part of the original Putrajaya and Cyberjaya 5G-network testbed. If all goes well, we might just expect a few cities in Malaysia to officially offer the new 5G network as early as the first quarter of 2020. That being said, Is it actually worth investing in a flagship smartphone without 5G right now?
