In this latest WhatsApp beta news, WhatsApp is refining its username feature with a new privacy tool called the “username key.” This optional setting acts as a gatekeeper—users who enable it can require others to enter a unique code before messaging them via username, adding a protective layer against unsolicited chats.

When Apple unveiled the iOS 14.3 update, it came with numerous new features as well as the ability to opt-in or block a tool used to track user behaviour called the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers). By blocking the aforementioned tool, the smartphone will stop receiving tailored personalized advertisements to the user.
