It seems that since last night (18 June 2025), Maybank has been facing an unscheduled outage affecting several popular digital platforms, including the MAE app, QR Payments, and M2U Biz. Users are reporting interruptions across major functionalities until today.

QR payment is becoming a norm now and if you are a Maybank user, you're in luck. Maybank just announced that its users can now make QR payments when they are overseas. All we have to do is look out for QR codes!
