The Sustainability Energy Development Authority of Malaysia or SEDA recently announced that Malaysians can now get an RM200 rebate off of energy efficient refrigerators or air conditioners with at least 4 or 5 star energy ratings for 2026. This is under the Program:NUR Domestik or Nikmat Untuk Rakyat initiative and is valid for every household while rebate units are still available on a first-come first-serve basis or until December 2026.

Samsung Malaysia has officially announced the Samsung Family Hub smart refridgerator, which allows the user to not only plan on what to buy during grocery runs via the 'View Inside' feature from the price of RM8999. But that's not all, there is also plan form a diet plan in order to improve their health by using the Recipes & Meal Planner feature available on the refrigerator as well.
