Apple reportedly considered removing the Grok AI chatbot from the App Store after the app was found to be generating sexualised deepfake images, including non-consensual content. The move came amid mounting pressure on Apple to act, as the company faced criticism for continuing to host the app despite widespread misuse. According to reports, Apple ultimately chose to intervene behind the scenes rather than immediately enforce a ban.

According to industry reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is reportedly gearing up for an unusually packed start to 2026, with a string of announcements that could begin as early as Monday, from the 2nd until the 4th of March 2026. Rather than rolling everything into a single keynote, the company appears to be planning a sequence of releases over three days, culminating in what it’s calling a “special Apple Experience.”

Reports have surfaced that Norwegian telecommunications group Telenor may be considering an eventual exit from its 33.1% stake in Malaysia’s largest mobile operator, CelcomDigi. The speculation comes in the wake of Telenor’s recent divestments in other Asian markets, including its full exit from Thailand through the sale of its stake in True Corporation.
