Today, Malaysia’s government has confirmed that a one-off payment of RM100 will be disbursed to all eligible Malaysians aged 18 and above under the SARA For All programme. The aid will be credited directly into recipients’ MyKad starting Monday, 9 February 2026.

So this just came in - according to sources, Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz has decided to increase the eWallet allowance of RM50 to RM100. 1.1 million Malaysian students are now eligible and Bernama also confirmed this news just a while ago on their Twitter page.

A few months ago, the Minister of Finance Dato’ Sri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz announced that the government have approved the e-PENJANA program. This program was initiated by the government to cooperate with the private companies, each of the groups was allocated RM750 million and the program has successfully raised a total of RM1.5 billion.
