This year could be a unique one for Apple fans out there as Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, hinted in his investor's note that there might be a dual-SIM 6.1-inch LCD model iPhone with a price starting at USD650 (~RM2528) and USD550 (~RM2139) for their single SIM models.

Sony is set to launch a new A series full-frame camera in the upcoming edition of Photokina. At least, this is what Tony Northrup is saying to the world. This experienced and avid photographer is speculating that the two models will differ mainly in sensor resolution

Time to start saving now, because Xiaomi is set to release their notebook sometime in July or August this year. Xiaomi is set to launch the notebook, that could be design for first time young computer users. The time frame is right as it is just before majority of the students in China and worldwide goes back to school.  

One of the biggest smartphone makers in the world may soon find themselves considering to wean off the dependence on Google's OS and instead turn to their own home brand. Samsung's Tizen is not new – with their Samsung Z model available in select market, and their smartwatches running on their own OS. The fact that they may just turn away from Android could be a game changer.

June 9th is the date when Lenovo will be announcing new products for both the Lenovo and the Motorola brands to the world. We have seen leaks about the upcoming Motorola Moto X 2016 as well as the 4th generation Motorola Moto G. While medium format cameras usually comes with insane megapixel counts, there has yet to be a Sony-branded camera that utilizes medium format sensor, which is about twice the size of a full-frame sensor. This may change come Photokina, where rumour states that the Japanese company may launch a rival to Hasselblad and Phase One bodies.

The days of phones having just flat fronts may soon be over. While so far only Samsung and Vivo has curved screened smartphones, the former being the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the latter being the Vivo X5 Play, soon we may see more companies with curved displays for their smartphones. Reports suggesting that Huawei and Xiaomi will be the two new players to the curved screened market.

Joining the ranks of Samsung, Apple and ASUS – HTC is reported to launch their own smartwatch sometime this year. While the report states that originally the watch was to be launched with the HTC 10, it has been pushed back to a later date instead.

The dream of unfolding your smartphone into a bigger display may be coming soon, if the reports coming from online sources are to be believed. Samsung is reportedly gearing up to release their first foldable smartphone sometime early next year.
