Previously, we reported on the implementation of a public Domain Name System (DNS) redirection in Malaysia due to a directive from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). Now, the commission has released a statement addressing the matter, clarifying its purpose and debunking misconceptions about the implementation.

In case you didn't know, Microsoft is experiencing a worldwide system outage at the moment. It's affecting and disrupting numerous IT services, airports, banks and businesses globally. This also includes KLIA, KLIA 2 and KTMB (Malayan Railway Limited).

If you're a Garmin user and have been experiencing issues from their servers and services, you're not alone. It turned out that the company was under cyber attack for a week since 23 July and this affected their website, customer support, apps and others. Today, Garmin Malaysia just tweeted that their server systems are back to operation (but not all, though).
