Recently, Shopee Malaysia announced that it is implementing a new Platform Support Fee. Effective July 16, 2025, the Platform Support Fee is set at RM0.50 (subject to 8% SST), aimed at helping sustain investments in platform maintenance and growth.

Today, Shopee Malaysia announced that its mobile wallet - ShopeePay is now available as a payment method for Apple services in Malaysia. With this, Shopee users can use their ShopeePay account to pay for App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV app, iTunes Store purchases, iCloud storage and more.

The economy has made everyone's life hard due to inflation that was caused by the pandemic. But it seems that prices will continue to rise, as Shopee Malaysia just recently announced that the Marketplace Commission Fees will be revised effectively on 10 January 2023. 

Today, some media have spotted that Shopee Malaysia just made some changes to its ShopeePay. In the next few days, the FAQ said that the withdrawal function on ShopeePay will be removed from the Shopee app soon.

In conjunction with the ePemula programme registration today on 11 April 2022, Shopee Malaysia has also announced that successful ePemula claimants can get the RM150 ShopeePay credit as well as an additional RM500 worth of vouchers, bringing the total benefit up to RM650. In case you didn't notice, Shopee Malaysia just launched a quiet update for the app. From now onwards, you can now opt for the Shopee Self Collection option where you can collect your items at your own convenience.

As we get closer to the end of 2022, Shopee Malaysia will be kicking off yet another sale. Called the ShopeePay Day, it will commence on 1 January 2022 with a bunch of promotions and discounts as usual, as long as customers make use of their ShopeePay.

11.11 is coming again and Shopee Malaysia has something in store for everyone. Besides the usual big discounts of up to 95%, RM1 deals, free shipping and others, the biggest giveaway by the company is a condominium unit worth over RM500,000 at SkyMeridien Residences at Sentul East. 

It's that time of the season again and if you haven't guessed - it's the durian season! That being said, scammers are apparently taking advantage of the pandemic situation since we can't go out but no worries. This is because Shopee Malaysia is working with the Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (FAMA) to empower legitimate durian farmers and sellers via a Durian e-Fiesta campaign.
